Who is responsible, and what this covers
This policy is issued by Montej group and compani s.r.o., Opletalova 1566/30, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company registration 29412285, contactable at info@idleformat.online. Montej group and compani s.r.o. publishes the website at idleformat.online and decides what happens to any personal information connected with it.
Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy covers idleformat.online and nothing else. The affiliate link on this site leads to https://price-low.eu/a/mZvW4URrgVfDMpz, and the Australian government sites linked from the course are separate services with their own privacy policies; once you leave this domain, this policy stops applying.
The policy is set out principle by principle, so that you can see what each of the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles means on a site that is, by design, almost inert.
APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information
This policy is the openness measure. It is published at a fixed address, linked from the footer of every page, written in ordinary language, and kept consistent with how the site is actually built. Montej group and compani s.r.o. does not operate a separate internal policy that says something different. Questions about it go to info@idleformat.online.
APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity
You can read every page of this course without identifying yourself. There is no login, no form and nothing to fill in. If you write to us, a pseudonymous email address is perfectly acceptable for a general question or a correction. The one exception is a request for access to, or correction of, personal information: for those we need to be reasonably satisfied who is asking, which usually means replying from the address that sent the original message.
APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information
Two categories exist, and there is no third.
(a) Server access logs. Our hosting provider, which is not named here and which may store data outside Australia, keeps the ordinary web server log for each request: the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sent one, and the user-agent string identifying your browser and operating system.
(b) The content of emails sent to info@idleformat.online. That means your email address, your name if you give one, whatever you write, and any attachment you send.
(c) Nothing else is collected. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no account, no progress tracking, no quiz and no comment facility anywhere on this site. The site sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, loads no web fonts, runs no analytics, carries no advertising tag, builds no profile and performs no cross-site tracking. Every page is served from this domain alone: your browser is not asked to request anything from any other server, which is why no third party sees your visit.
APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information
If an email arrives containing personal information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — details about a third party, an attachment sent in error, identity documents nobody requested — it is deleted as soon as it is lawful and reasonable to do so, and it is not used or disclosed in the meantime.
APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information
This section is the notification. Logs are collected automatically by our hosting provider when any server receives a request, which is how the web works; emails are collected because you chose to write. The purposes, retention periods and recipients are set out below. If we ever collect anything beyond those two categories, this page will say so before it happens.
APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information
Each category has one purpose and is used for nothing else.

Personal information is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with anyone for marketing. It is disclosed to a government body, court or regulator only where the law requires it, and we would not volunteer it otherwise.
APP 7 — Direct marketing
Montej group and compani s.r.o. does not use any information connected with this site for direct marketing. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no sequence of course reminders. Writing to the contact address does not subscribe you to anything, because there is nothing to be subscribed to.
APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information
Two recipients exist: our hosting provider, which holds the access logs, and our email service provider, which holds the mailbox. Neither is named in this policy, and both may store or process data outside Australia — including in locations we have not specified here. No other recipient receives personal information connected with this site. Montej group and compani s.r.o. is itself established in the Czech Republic, so correspondence sent to us is read outside Australia.
APP 9 — Government related identifiers
This principle has no application here. No government related identifier — no tax file number, Medicare number, driver licence number or similar — is adopted as our own identifier, used, or disclosed, because none is ever collected.
APP 10 — Quality of personal information
The only personal information we hold that could be wrong is what you have told us in an email. If something in that correspondence is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, write and say so and it will be corrected.
APP 11 — Security of personal information
The site is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit. There is no database behind this site and no stored submissions, because nothing is submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for Montej group and compani s.r.o., and access is removed when it is no longer needed. Information is destroyed or de-identified when the retention period above has passed. We claim no certification and no compliance with any standard beyond what is stated on this page.
APP 12 — Access to personal information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you. Email info@idleformat.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request, and you will have a reply within 30 days. In practice the answer for most people is that we hold nothing at all, because they have never written to us and a 30-day log entry has long since gone.
APP 13 — Correction of personal information
You may ask us to correct personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Use the same address and the same subject line. Corrections are made within 30 days, and if we decline to make one we will say why and tell you how to complain about that decision.
Affiliate links
Some pages of the course link to the website of World of Warships. Following one of those links takes you off idleformat.online. From that moment, World of Warships and the affiliate network that operates the link may use cookies or similar technology on their own sites to record that the visit came from here, under their own privacy policies rather than this one. Montej group and compani s.r.o. does not set or read anything on those domains and does not control what they do.
What we receive back is a commission report from the network: aggregate counts of referrals and amounts payable. Those reports are used only to reconcile payments. We do not ask the network for information identifying individual readers, and we do not attempt to connect a report to any particular visit or person.
Complaints
If you think your privacy has been mishandled, write to info@idleformat.online with the detail. Complaints are acknowledged and answered within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which handles privacy complaints at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints. You do not need our permission to do that.
Data breaches
If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or loss of, personal information connected with this site, we assess it promptly. Where the assessment indicates that serious harm to any affected person is likely, we notify those people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Children
This course is written for adults and is not directed at people under 16. Nothing on the site collects information capable of identifying a child, because nothing on the site collects information capable of identifying anyone who does not write to us. Where the course discusses younger players, it does so as guidance for the adult reading it.
If you are in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom
Montej group and compani s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so European data protection law also applies to the handling described above. The legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. The legal basis for handling an email is to respond to the enquiry you have chosen to send. There is no consent basis anywhere in this policy, because there are no cookies, no tracking and nothing else that would require consent.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the contact address to exercise any of them. You may also complain to the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), at uoou.cz, or to the supervisory authority in your own country of residence.
Changes to this policy
When this policy is revised, the effective date at the top changes with it. Where a change materially affects how personal information is handled, a short note saying so is placed at the top of this page and left there for 30 days. Older versions are not archived publicly; if you need to know what the policy said on a particular date, ask.
